Captain Lloyd Booth loves to fish! His passion for fishing drives him to continue learning how to catch every kind of fish North Vancouver Island has to offer, and he’s known as one of the best Lingcod fisherman in the Port Hardy area.

Lloyd started fishing over 40 years ago, when he caught his first Coho Salmon and was immediately hooked. Though his favourite fishing is trolling for salmon, he loves everything about fishing.  From the constant hunt for the “Gus” or legendary big one, to the peacefulness only found on the water, from the proximity to other sentient beings such as whales or dolphins, to the taste of a fresh catch as your reward – Lloyd is passionate about being on the water and always makes sure his guests are smiling. 

With a lifetime of experience on the water, Lloyd’s specific experience as a skipper in Port Hardy makes him better suited for the waters around the North Island. He knows a lot about running a small boat on a huge ocean, and your safety is always his first priority.
